No problem. (found here)
My fiance has decided that she is going to try and Christmas me the hardest this year (even though I won just for this year because of this by at least a slim margin) and she has developed a super fun plan of giving me one present a day until Christmas starting on 12/1. It’s awesome because they can be anything!
Christmas present #1 was being eyeballed by Marley a little bit…

And it turned out to be a super sweet Evernote moleskin notebook that I’m able to take on my work trip this week! I can’t wait to test it out because supposedly I can handwrite notes and then take a picture of it with my app and it will digitize my notes for sorting later! Stay tuned!

Over the weekend, I started to panic when I realized that we didn’t really have any Christmas ornaments! So you know, I just whipped some up real quick like so the tree wouldn’t be naked.
I decided on a plaid Christmas tree. It says Christmas, but we could also use them as winter decorations later.
If you want to try to make your own, just draw a shape onto the fabric. I used some cookie cutters as patterns. I sandwiched the fabric with some batting and a little ribbon or twine, and then sewed on the outline. Then I took some pinking shears and cut out the shape. Tie a little bow or knot, and you’re done.
And because I can’t stop, won’t stop, I fashioned a plaid star for the tree topper too.
We decorated the tree at night by Christmas tree light, while drinking hot chocolate.
He loves hot chocolate, but just can’t have too much! (new in the Little Amaryllis shop)
How wonderful December begins on a weekend? My fiance (!!) and I will be setting up our tree and making some ornaments. I am also planning on making a pie, that I will force on everyone that comes to visit us. Visitors beware!

I made these cookies as a gift for the guy’s family for turkey day. We ate them over the weekend dipped in coffee with whipped cream on top. They were buttery, and crunchy, and you should probably make them soon.
