new in the shop: redwork holiday cards

I am generally a firm believer that each holiday has its time. This is probably because I have a November birthday. I like to celebrate my birthday, then Thanksgiving, and then it can be Christmas music time. BUT it is time to start thinking about any gifts you need to make. If you start those after Thanksgiving, you may not finish in time. Plus, working on gifts and crafts in these early evenings is sort of what fall is all about, right?

So by that logic, now is the time to begin working on these cards! I am really happy with these classic redwork designs. Those deer cards are selling like gingerbread cookies at Christmas, or hotcakes, whichever you prefer. Find them in the shop now.

new in the shop: pumpkin cards

I could have imagined it, but I felt like there was almost a chill in the air this morning. Like I could almost wear a light jacket for 10 minutes over my tshirt and shorts. But the calendar says fall is coming whether or not the weather here agrees. There are some new autumn card designs in the shop to get you in the crispy leaves and hot tea mood.

extra sprinkles

I bought these sprinkles awhile back for some project or another. But they have been sitting right at the front of the shelf, like they constantly think they are the exact thing I opened the cupboard for. Well, it was finally their lucky day. I used this recipe to make some sprinkle cookies. (Mine don’t look like the recipe for some reason…I checked the measurements twice. Hmmm.) They are festive, pure sugar, and ready to party.

new in the shop: woven notebook

I am a notorious list maker. My work space gets covered in little sticky notes throughout the days and week, and then I collect and categorize them in notebooks. My favorite notebooks have pretty covers, so I don’t lose them. This notebook has a cool woven cover to make it extra special.

Its a kit, if you were looking to try your hand at weaving on a small scale! I wanted to use the fun yellow color, and ended up with an upside down pineapple, just in time for summer.

how does your garden grow

It is like magic watching a garden grow. One day, its a tiny little plant. And then you look again, its two feet taller or growing food. Ah-mazing.

I’ve been fondly scrolling through garden photos from 2 weeks ago, and seeing how much they have grown. I can only imagine what I will be like when I have a real baby.

There are a couple new notebooks in the shop to keep track of garden progress, planting plans, or grocery lists!

new in the shop: guitar cards

For some reason lately, I feel like I could learn to play the guitar. I am pretty terrible at most musical things, so I could be completely wrong here. But I know you can get 1/2 sized guitars, which would be good for me. And I am fairly good at memorizing patterns, so I feel like it is something I could learn. I just think it would be fun to sit in the backyard in the evening and play the guitar (provided someone tunes it for me). So some of my proceeds from my shops will be going into my future guitar fund.

In honor of my recent google search history, a guitar card is new in the shop this week!guitar
