I get a ton of emails everyday between my work and my personal email so it’s not often that I get an email that intrigues me enough to open if it’s not related to something I am actively working on or planning. Jack Brown Cleaners sent me the email below the other day and I have to say it was pretty entertaining to read. It had everything…a disco ball, a chicken, a patriotic appeal and a nostalgia because everyone has done the chicken dance before. Enjoy!
I got introduced to Restoration Hardware for the first time this past week by a co-worker of mine on a walk back from lunch and I was impressed. The best thing that they had there was this huge Scrabble board. Note the equally impressive sand timer as well. Sign me up for one of these because the girl and I love to play Scrabble.

I am admiring wood floors lately. Look at this one. I think it has a beautiful rug painted on the floor. Makes the room even more bright, and airy, and happy.

You know how you have to have something just because your mom has it? I can’t possible make any more pies unless I have this pie plate.
When I get home from work, the first thing I do is usually the dishes. After a day of sitting in front of a computer, it is nice to actually do a task, and have an end result. Doing the dishes is my little way of being able to feel like my hands have accomplished something that day. And has the added bonus of making sure all the dishes are ready for dinner making!
And wouldn’t the task of washing dishes be so much prettier with these plates?! I mean, I would feel like I was doing dishes for the queen. I want to register for them all.
