tea with honey
In the chilly mornings before the sun warms up the house, I try to drink some green tea. Lately, I’ve been adding honey to my mug too. So it turns into mostly hot honey water. Gotta love those bees!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, full of good activities! I’m hoping to sew another skirt, have lunch with friends, and if the weather is nice, get some tomatoes to plant!
new in the shop: little honey cards
No better way to say bee mine than with stinging insects. These cards focus more on the sweet honey, and are available for stitching up now!
rosemary and honey pecans
Its super satisfying to eat something you grew yourself. But using homegrown herbs always makes me feel extra fancy. We made these rosemary and honey pecans for some special guys for father’s day. Simple, fancy, tasty, and homegrown gift.
I’m no rosemary expert, but I would have to say that this is some of the prettiest rosemary ever. Freshly cut from the herb garden.
peanut butter likes honey
I don’t eat a lot of honey. Not that I don’t like it, but it is just very sticky.
I know about the peanut butter and honey combo, but it has never popped into my head to make peanut butter and honey cookies. It is a true revelation. I just replaced half the butter and sugar in the recipe with some honey, and it adds a little something magical. The dough did get progressively slimy, and the cookies got flatter and flatter as I made more batches, but look at those nooks and crannies. Try them!
