If I had a million of these, it still wouldn’t be enough. You grow up seeing these on the walls of houses, and now that we have one, I feel like we can finally officially be married forever. Embroidery don’t lie.

new adventure
After getting quite a few compliments on our wedding invitations, I decided to start up a little shop to sell a few designs. I made a couple to start, and am working on making some DIY kits, too!

message on a penguin
These penguins are a custom request from Etsy. Someone asked if I could embroider some words on two penguins, and I decided to give it a try! I was kinda nervous about the hand embroidery, since it definitely is a challenge to embroider fleece, but I think it turned out pretty good. The handwritten lettering is part of the handmade charm, right?
Now off to your happy new homes, little penguins!

I have been working on this project for a while. I call it a “fabric art” piece. I used it to practice my embroidery. And to prove to myself that I can sometimes make the things that I picture in my head.
I am pleased with how it turned out. I am going to hang it on the wall with pride.

I really want to be good at embroidery. So I have been practicing on what I am calling a fabric art piece. I am pretty excited about how it will turn out. I am also pretty stoked to be an awesome embroidering grandma someday.
