I have been making quite a few custom orders lately. I really enjoy the challenge of creating something unique. This scientist bird was a twist on another bird in my shop. It was way too much fun designing a lab coat for a stuffed bird.
It was my dear Ma’s birthday last week. I like to make her blank note cards, and since there was just a new baby cow born on the farm, I made a bunch of little cow cards. The little gang of paper cows were very rowdy before I glued them to their cards. They were so adorable, I wanted to eat them.
….hashtag awesome. I really think my first project as a married woman (still weird to say!) will be making a quilt. I had the urge to start one the other day, but making all these wedding invitations should probably come first. But I am excited to find a fun quilt pattern and get colorful fabric! Those little conversation hearts are always one of my favorite parts of Valentine’s season. I think I still have boxes of them hoarded from last year…

I made a special grey and white deer for a custom order. I really like how he looks like he is in black and white. What a fun addition to a colorful or neutral room!
Good hygiene and health are a huge pro when looking for a potential mate. My guy inspired these little love note cards last year, because he would say sweet little things like these to me all the time. The cards are available in the shop, and ready to go for Valentine season, if you need to tell someone you care.
During the holiday yesterday, I decided to remember how thankful I am, and make some thank you cards. My ma used to make us sit down and write thank you notes after every Christmas, but these ones are voluntary.
I got the idea for the triangle style heart off of pinterest, but now of course, I can’t seem to find it again. (Update: found it!) But I thought it was a cute idea for a little quilt-y looking heart. For a homemade heartfelt thank you.
