That’s a funny title. It reminded me of you.

Dog vs. Doorstop
This might be one of the best videos ever. I think my favorite part is at the :40 second mark when he starts getting scared of it.

My love of noodle soup
I love noodle soup. I especially love the Ramen soup you can buy at HEB for a quarter. I know that it’s not healthy for you at all, but there’s even been times that I ate it for breakfast. So you can imagine my excitement when I found this link on Buzzfeed for 22 Bowls of Warm and Cozy Noodle Soups. You can better believe I’ll be trying at least one of the recipes.
A future friend for Marley
For those of you who don’t know, I have a 6-year old Labrador mix named Marley (who I named before the movie “Marley & Me” came out). She is a pretty funny dog who really just wants to love people all the time and is one of the best companions you could have. She also thinks that every dog is her friend so when I found this picture of a Saint Bernard puppy it made me want to get it. Unfortunately, until we move somewhere that is big enough for two full-grown dogs, Marley will just have to wait for her new best friend.

Ping pong fever in Austin
This past Thursday I was privileged enough to take part in my first ever King Pong tournament. For those of you who do not know, King Pong is an agency ping pong tournament that happens once a year in Austin and pits the best pongers from local agencies against each other in a 5-hour long tournament. I love ping pong so I was stoked for this. The whole event was pretty cool, but I was definitely not as hardcore as some of the other players there. I made it through the first round but lost in the second round to one of the guys that founded the event a few years ago. I think that I might need to invest in a ping pong table so that I can start practicing and be fully prepared for next year’s event.
It’s official, there’s now a 5K for everything.
Raise your hand if you ever thought you would see a 5K for a Zombie Mud Run. I got this livingsocial deal recently in my inbox and it made me laugh because lately it seems like more times than not when I ask someone what they are doing this weekend they say “Oh, I’m running in a 5K!” and I would have never thought of a Zombie themed 5K but I suppose even zombie lovers deserve to have a 5K of their own.
Cards against humanity
A couple of weeks ago, a colleague at work sent around an agency announcement that he had a game that he would be giving away to whoever could submit the best one-liner that was for “the most horrible thing you could say to new mom Snooki.” That game that he was giving away was Cards Against Humanity. I had heard of this game before from The Girl but this was the second time that I had heard about it so I had to look it up and it is pretty hilarious, completely inappropriate, but definitely hilarious. Even the combination that showed up on their website for me when I went to check it out was pretty bad and funny all at the same time.
For those of you that were curious, the winning one-liner came from one of my own team members – “Congratulations on having the first baby ever to be born with multiple STDs.”
