I have a little niece who is turning two, which gives me a perfect excuse to make a doll. My first choice would have required me to go to the store (boo), but good thing I had an equally good plan b picked out! We had a little animal version of these dolls when I was little. Did you ever have something like this? I think the little one will like putting them to bed, and then waking them up again, on repeat.
The original pattern wanted the dolls to be 8″ big. I shrunk them down by half, so they were twice as hard to make with all the little pieces, but will be twice as portable for little purses.
Now that the hairstyles are all sorted, time for bed!
Fabulous!
What pattern was it? They are adorable!
Thanks! The pattern is from this book- http://www.amazon.com/Wee-Wonderfuls-Dolls-Sew-Love/dp/1584798580/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&sr=&qid=
